The objective of the study is to describe the economic events that could
have a significant impact on the region’s economy and the effect of those
impacts on transport.

This report was commissioned by the Wellington Regional Council, in
preparation of the Regional Land Transport Strategy, to build a picture of
the regional economy and the major events that could affect the economy.
